Connect your AI assistant to the CDP directory

CdpHub's MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other AI tools look things up in this directory: which CDPs list a tool and which way the data flows, which CDPs fit a whole stack, and how two CDPs' catalogs compare. Your assistant answers with the figures and links to the pages here.

  • Free for answering questions
  • Read-only, with no sign-in or API key
  • Answers link to the pages here
  • Works in any app that supports remote MCP servers

Add it to your assistant

Paste the server address into your app's connector or MCP settings. There's nothing to install and no account to create.

Claude

claude.ai and the Claude apps
  1. Open Customize › Connectors (claude.ai/customize/connectors (opens in a new tab)).
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it CdpHub, paste the server address and click Continue.
  4. Leave No sign-in selected and click Add.
  5. In a chat, click +, then Connectors, and switch on CdpHub.

Claude asks before each lookup until you allow CdpHub's tools on its connector page. Free plans can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds it under Organization settings › Connectors.

ChatGPT

on the web
  1. Open Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins (opens in a new tab)).
  2. Click +, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it CdpHub and paste the server address under Connection.
  4. Choose no authentication, confirm the warning and click Create as a plugin.
  5. Install the plugin. In a new chat, type @ and pick CdpHub.

Whether you can add a custom MCP server depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.

Claude Code

in your terminal

Run:

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http cdphub https://cdphub.com/functions/mcp

Add --scope user to have it in every project. claude mcp list shows whether it's connected.

Cursor

the AI code editor

Add CdpHub to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json in one project:

mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "cdphub": {
      "url": "https://cdphub.com/functions/mcp"
    }
  }
}

If the file already lists servers, add the cdphub entry inside mcpServers.

VS Code

GitHub Copilot

Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP, paste the server address and name it cdphub. Or add it to .vscode/mcp.json:

.vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "cdphub": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://cdphub.com/functions/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Copilot Chat can then use CdpHub's tools.

Other apps

any MCP client

Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can connect with the server address alone. There's no sign-in, API key or session to set up.

Opened in a browser, the address brings you back to this page.

What you can ask

Ask in plain words; your assistant picks the lookup. For example:

  • Look up a tool

    get_tool

    “How many CDPs integrate with Snowflake, and which way does the data flow?”

    Which CDPs list the tool, which way each one moves data, how it runs, and links to each CDP's documentation.

  • Check a stack

    check_stack

    “Which CDPs list Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive and Snowflake?”

    The CDPs that list every tool, grouped by how they connect to each, and the ones that miss just one.

  • Compare two CDPs

    compare_cdps

    “Compare Segment's and mParticle's integration catalogs.”

    The tools both list, the tools only one lists, and each side's largest categories of those.

  • Look up a CDP

    get_cdp

    “What does Braze's integration catalog cover, and how does it connect to the main warehouses?”

    Catalog size and rank, directions, largest categories, warehouses and the CDPs with the most tools in common.

  • List the CDPs

    list_cdps

    “Which CDPs have the largest integration catalogs?”

    Every CDP in the directory by number of tools, with the directory's totals.

  • Search the directory

    search_directory

    “Which Tealium integrations send data to advertising tools?”

    Exact totals and the first results for any keyword, CDP, category or direction, with a link to the same search here.

Good to know

Free to use
The server is free for answering questions, with a link back to cdphub.com. For bulk data, change alerts or commercial use of the data, email ed@cdphub.com about API access.
The same data as the directory
It reads the integration catalogs of the 44 CDPs in the directory, 6,699 listings in all, last updated October 28, 2026. Answers link to the pages here, and each listing to the CDP's own documentation.
Read-only, with no account
It can only look things up. It needs no sign-in, sets no cookies and changes nothing.
What is recorded
CdpHub records each lookup (the tool and what it was asked) and the name of each app that connects, so it can see which questions people ask. No IP address is stored.
Long answers are trimmed
A tool lookup details up to 50 listings; the tool's page here has them all. Lookups are rate-limited so the server stays quick for everyone.
A missing listing isn't proof
If a CDP doesn't list a tool, it doesn't document an integration with it. That doesn't mean the two can't be connected.
